ABOUT THE POLECATS

The Polecats are a group of pole vaulters that train together from the DFW area.  We exhibit good sportsmanship, respect our competitors, and work hard to improve our vault technique.  Vault safety is our first priority.  We chase new heights and have fun doing it! 


ABOUT THE COACH: HAL THEODORE

I am a graduate of Keller High School (1979) and Tarleton State University. I have 27 years of experience teaching physical education including three years at Bear Creek Intermediate School, one year at Keller Central High School and 23 years at Keller Middle School.  

I have 37 total years of experience in pole vaulting. I spent ten years competing at the junior high, high school, and college levels and  have spent 27 years coaching vaulters of all levels (19 years as a Keller I.S.D. vault coach.)
